What we do
Motor insurance renewal comparison
You send your renewal notice. We come back with what the insurers on our panel are quoting, and what the differences mean.
What we compare, and why each one matters
- Premium — what you'll pay for the year.
- The only number most people look at, and the least useful one on its own.
- Excess — what leaves your pocket before the insurer pays anything.
- This is where two near-identical quotes separate. A policy that costs less per year can cost considerably more the one time you need it, and you find that out at the worst possible moment.
- Workshop terms — your own workshop, or only the insurer's panel.
- Matters more than people expect. If you have a workshop you trust, or a car that needs someone who knows it, a panel restriction can turn a cheap policy into an expensive year.
- No-claim discount — whether yours carries across, and whether it survives a claim.
- Years of careful driving are worth real money. Some policies protect that after one claim; some reset it. Worth knowing which one you're holding.
- Named drivers — who else can drive it, and what the excess becomes when they do.
- The number that catches families out. A young or newly licensed driver on the policy can change the excess sharply, and it's rarely on the front page of anything.
How we compare
We approach the insurers on our panel whose underwriting criteria fit your vehicle, your driving record and how the car is used. We quote against the same cover level as your current policy unless you ask us to do otherwise, so the figures are like for like.
Our panel is not the whole Singapore market. A quote we don't show you may exist elsewhere.
What you get
A written summary, in plain English, within one working day. No jargon, and no pressure to act on it.
You pay us nothing. Insurers pay us a commission if you take up a policy through us, and it's already accounted for in the premium they quote.
Policy review
Not renewing yet? Send your current policy schedule and we'll tell you what it actually covers. Same plain English, same lack of obligation.
Useful if you've never read yours properly, or if you inherited it from a dealership and have no idea what's in it.
What we don't do
We don't handle claims on your behalf, and we don't provide legal advice. If you've had an accident, your insurer's hotline is the right first call — and we'll say so rather than pretend otherwise.
